Make Coffee At Home That’s SO GOOD That You’ll Feel Guilty Buying Starbucks!

I made this for my daughter. She’s picky when it comes to food and drink so I was quite surprised she actually liked it.

She wanted to learn how to make it herself so I’m writing this for her (and whoever else would be interested.

The secret to making great coffee at home without buying an expensive machine–a French Press!

I got this one on Amazon. It’s “currently unavailable” but at least you’ll know what to look for:

I buy whole coffee beans at Sprout’s. I prefer light roasted beans. Last time I was there, I got the “Cinnamon Sugar Cookie’ flavored beans.

I grind the beans right before making the coffee. I make sure they’re ground until it looks somewhat like coarse sand.

I add 4 tbsps of the ground coffee beans to the carafe and 12 oz of just under boiling water (approx 190 degrees):

I stir it and let it steep for 3 minutes before running the press through.

I add 1/2 cup of warm Trader Joe’s Oat Milk Creamer, 1 tbsp PURE Maple Syrup and 1 tbsp granulate sugar (adjust to taste) to serving cup. I then pour the pressed coffee on top and stir.

Serve immediately hot or over ice!

Enjoy!

P.S. For the best tasting coffee, make sure to use the best quality water. I use purified water made from the Hydra-Home Unit.
