Yesterday I was coloring with my two year old son, Andrew. His NEW favorite thing to do is make greeting cards for his “PaPA” (my beau, Roger Haeske) and run them upstairs and slide them under the bedroom door while Roger sleeps.

So here’s how I used alchemy to change “straw into “gold.”
As I type this, my two year old son, Andrew, and I are sitting on the front porch, which has become our favorite spot to sit on.
We like sitting here because the summer has been quite pleasant here in The Garden State.
Most days it just feels like late Spring instead of summer.
Yesterday around dinnertime, my two year old son, Andrew, and I were sitting on the front porch.
My beau, Roger Haeske, made a batch of his favorite smoothie and Andrew, wanting everything his “PaPA” has, asked for some. Roger poured some into a cup for him and went upstairs to the office.
Andrew and I continued to sit outside enjoying the beautiful summer evening in the Garden State.
I overheard a woman across the street asking for a “hot dog, no bread” for a little girl Andrew’s age.

I just found out that today is National Junk Food Day. Unbelievable since for most people EVERYDAY is Junk Food Day.
Apparently today is the day to eat Junk Food without feeling guilt.
